The Nilgiris Matriculation Higher Secondary School (N.M.H.S.S.) was established in the year 1979 and is amongst the oldest matriculation schools in the Nilgiris. N.M.H.S.S has classes from Kindergarten to XIIth and is situated at "Lovedale", one of the most picturesque locations in the Nilgiris. The school was taken over by Mrs.Rema Padmanabhan, a teacher by profession in 1997 and has been transformed to one of the most respected schools in the region. Our aim is to provide the necessary ambience to achieve excellence in the field of education and other related activities. We strive hard to provide a holistic type of education that would prepare the children to be mentally, spiritually, physically and morally sound to face the challenges in their future walks of life.
